This server is a very modest semi-modern Debian Linux box. It hosts a variety of services for the TenTic Alliance, including a web server (with PHP, Perl, and Python), our shared MySQL server, a SVN setup, and more. It runs on an old Compaq Presario. I don't expect this computer to be as resiliant as the last one, nor do I expect this disk to last as long (37,257 power-on hours and going strong), but I've put it on my old UPS, so it should have a slightly easier environment. Thanks to the wonder of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Perl/Python), even these moderate specs can easily handle all of our needs. The bottleneck is, unfortunately, at my cable modem (through Time Warner: Roadrunner). It has a blisteringly fast download speed of 8Mbits/sec (sometimes), but the upload is a measly 512Kbits/sec: pathetic for a webserver. So, please be patient with us!
